Klick Kindermuseum Hamburg

Time Tunnel, Körperklangtisch, and more ...

The MMM created some installations in 2004 for the opening of the “Klick Kindermuseum Hamburg.” In the “Time Tunnel,” science fiction sounds are triggered by footsteps on the floor. The museum’s exhibition on the body also contains the “Sounds-of-the-Human-Body Table,” where visitors communicate musically by tapping on breakfast platters with their fingers to trigger sounds of the human body such as a heartbeat, a kiss, yawning, breathing, groaning and snoring – all humorously drawing the connection between music and its origins as an expression of what people feel and a way of creating new feelings.
