Aerophones: Air-based instruments
The whistleblowers
Any instrument with a vibrating column of air is an aerophone. Humans have been using this method for ages to create very loud tones and send them as warning signals over long distances.
Pitch depends on the length of the pipe. The human voice is also an aerophone.
Bottle Blower
Make the bottle whistle with the wind against your face. Volume creates pitch.
Aluminum Monster Flute
The aluminum monster flute is five meters long, and at least 2 people are needed in order to play it. The latest version is made of anodized aluminum.
Monster Flute PVC
A classic! More than five meters long. Create super-low bass notes with other players.
Pump Organ
Each and every pitch has a corresponding length of organ pipe made of drainage piping with an extra pump. Sweaty fun!
