Pictures of sound and the sound of pictures

Experience art as music!

Proudly presented in art museums by the moderator and performer Michael Bradke alongside children, youths, parents and grandparents!

See for yourself how the motto "Art and Music: The Sound of Pictures" transforms a visit to the art museum into an extraordinary experience! Michael Bradke inspires the whole family with his playful approach to forms, shapes and colors, surfaces and spaces, movement, rhythm and ideas, leading participants on an adventure through the world of musical and visual art.

Organizational principles and the expression of sentiment, the imitation of nature and the play with associations and memories can be found in both pictures and music. The artworks the workshop focuses on are a result of creative processes and may range from free improvisation all the way to elaborately designed compositions.

After a fun-filled introduction, youngsters and museum-lovers still young at heart begin working with a fantastic collection of instruments, noisemakers and sound-making structures with the goal of transforming the museum's exhibition pictures into sound.

Also suitable as a continuing education workshop for art and music instructors. The required equipment is portable and all the instruments are provided.
